Afryk•VIP is the iOS app behind StartUps & Downs, a reality TV Show produced by Afryk.
Through this app a selected number of young entrepreneurs get mentorship and support from a group of mentors and angels.
StartUps & Downs is a TV series following the journeys and progress of African tech entrepreneurs, influencers, dreamers and makers as they kickstart their projects.
The contestants submit updates to the app where a group of elite mentors follow, observe and eventually, decide to take the most promising mentees under their umbrella.
Contestants constantly share their stories and push the content they want to see on TV to the Afryk team. The app allows both mentors and mentees to post Audio, Photo, Video and Text, those stories are mixed with regular content, giving birth to a very engaging TV Show.
